From Adversity to IAS Success

Lipin Raj’s inspiring journey reflects the true spirit of perseverance. Battling an eye injury, financial struggles, and family-related challenges, he faced circumstances that could have easily derailed his ambitions. However, his determination to succeed kept him moving forward. After completing his graduation from Mar Ivanios College, he chose to continue his academic journey through Indira Gandhi National Open University, where he pursued a Master’s degree in History. The flexibility of IGNOU allowed him to balance his personal challenges while continuing his studies. Through consistent effort, discipline, and an unwavering belief in himself, Lipin Raj successfully cleared the Civil Services Examination—one of the most competitive exams in India—and became an IAS Officer. His story stands as a motivation for countless students, proving that even in the face of adversity, success is achievable with dedication and courage.
