He shares that he is delighted to present the key milestones of his professional journey following the successful completion of his M.Sc. in Food Safety and Quality Management (MSCFSQM) from IGNOU. He describes this academic experience as transformative, significantly shaping his career and strengthening his expertise in the food industry. He highlights that the programme provided him with comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards, regulatory frameworks, and food laws, enabling him to build a strong technical foundation. He also developed enhanced analytical skills, particularly in evaluating food products in accordance with BIS standards, which helped him maintain higher quality benchmarks in his professional work. He notes that one of the most impactful outcomes of the programme was the significant improvement in his auditing capabilities. He acquired strong skills in conducting food safety audits, especially in HACCP systems, allowing him to identify risks effectively, implement corrective measures, and contribute to robust quality management systems within his organization. In addition to technical expertise, he emphasizes that the programme boosted his confidence in handling routine quality assurance and production-related responsibilities. He became more efficient in managing documentation, maintaining compliance records, and ensuring adherence to both internal and external standards, thereby enhancing his overall professional effectiveness. As a result of these advancements, he was promoted from Executive QA to Manager QA—an important milestone that reflected his improved competencies, dedication, and consistent performance. He also received greater recognition within his organization, further motivating him to excel in his field. He further shares that after completing the MSCFSQM programme, he achieved another significant milestone by securing admission to a part-time Ph.D. programme at a reputed deemed university in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. This opportunity has opened new avenues for research, innovation, and advanced learning in food safety and quality management. He expresses his heartfelt gratitude to IGNOU for providing a valuable platform for learning and professional growth. He also acknowledges the support of his faculty members, colleagues, and well-wishers who contributed to his success.
