He shares that soon after completing his graduation from GDC Anantnag, he joined government service, which made it difficult to pursue higher education through conventional modes. At that crucial juncture in 2003, IGNOU emerged as the only ray of hope for him to continue his academic journey. He successfully enrolled in and completed his MCA and B.Ed. degrees from IGNOU. He acknowledges that these programmes played a pivotal role in shaping both his academic foundation and professional growth, enabling him to enhance his knowledge and skills alongside his service commitments. In 2012, he joined the Higher Education Department as an Assistant Professor in Computer Applications. He credits IGNOU for empowering him with the qualifications and confidence required to achieve this milestone.
